Accomodation

The Cottage has an open plan sitting and dining room, a kitchen, bathroom, one double and one twin bedroom, accommodating up to 4 people and 1 baby.
Heating and hot water is provided by a gas boiler and there is wifi throughout.

The open plan sitting room is bright and airy with wooden flooring and a large window offering views across the town. Furnishings include a very comfortable Ikea suite of two armchairs and a sofa, a dining table and four chairs, side tables and a cupboard containing DVD’s, games and a range of books.   Entertainment is provided through a Smart TV which is connected to the internet, a DVD player and a Sound System.  Guests may connect to the sound system via Bluetooth to play their own music should they wish.  They may also connect to their own streaming services such as Netflix.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, fridge, deep freeze, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.  There is also a kettle, coffee machine (Dolce Gusto pods) and toaster.  Cutlery and crockery for four guests plus children is provided along with a full range of cooking utensils.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two singles. The bedrooms are fully furnished with a chest of draws, dressing table and wardrobe.  Both bedrooms have views overlooking the town and Abbey.  The bathroom is equipped with a bath, electric shower, toilet and washbasin.  Bed linen and towels are provided.  For guests who are staying for more than one week a change of bed linen can be arranged for the second week on request.

For infants and children there is a travel cot and a range of toys that can be found in the upstairs and downstairs cupboards.

Outside there is a raised veranda with a table and four chairs offering views across the town, and down some steps there is a barbeque area.

Your cottage will be available from 3 pm on the date of arrival and you can come straight to the cottage and start settling in.  Access is provided by a key which will be found in a key safe by the front door.

Please note that due to its elevated position above the town access to and from the cottage is via a number of steps and moderate gradients which may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
